
WHO WE ARE Our team has been involved in all known types of traditional marketing for over a quarter century, including mass media advertising, broadcast, print, brand-building, retail sales promotion, loyalty marketing, event marketing, direct and email campaigns, CRM, database marketing, branded publications, you name it. ADVERTISING WASTE MANAGEMENT After decades of experience in traditional media advertising, promotions, incentives and direct marketing, we recognize that to a large degree most advertising and marketing tactics are wasteful and unproductive. INBOUND VS. OUTBOUND Those traditional methods are basically outbound marketing tactics, and tend to involve a tremendous amount of spillage or waste. Our focus is on INBOUND MARKETING - putting our clients in the right 'locations' online so that qualified customers can find them at the precise moment they're looking for these types of products and services. BEYOND GEOGRAPHIC BORDERS MMTC is about Marketing Manufacturing and Technology companies, directly to their most productive potential customer base. MMTC started in Michigan, to try and help rebuild the industrial base, as well as support the new technology companies starting to mushroom up, and help some of the traditional manufacturers transition into new markets, new sectors in other regions and continents. As it was once said of radio being a local medium, the internet enables virtually every business to market globally. TALK IS CHEAP There has been a lot of talk in the government about rebuilding the industrial base, while we have allowed much of it to move overseas. But the government alone cannot legislate the transition and stem the tide of erosion that has taken place over the past half century. It is up to each of us to take this enormous potential and convert it into kinetic energy. We are joining the growing number of individuals and organizations taking action and dedicated to making a difference. BEYOND COFFEE SHOPS AND POP CULTURE If we continue to allow our industrial base to erode, there will be little to support a service economy based on coffee franchises and pop culture. But there's no point in looking back. Our mission is to continue to build from ground zero, starting in Michigan and the Midwest, and to do our small part, CAPITALIZING on our ability to innovate, with new technologies, and by utilizing the unprecedented pool of engineering talent and manufacturing know-how, to start rebuilding the infrastructure of what was once the arsenal of democracy.
